THE NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

The NSS was introduced in this college from the session 1070-71 with one unit of 60 students to promote national consciousness and to inculcate a sense of social responsibility,discipline and dignity of labour among the students which shall create a sense of participation in nation building activities.At present there are two male units and one female unit.

It monitored by Govt.of India through their Asst.Programme Advisior,Programme Co-ordinator of the University and the unit programme Officers of the college.

Ojectives:- The main objectives of NSS are:-

i)to arouse the social consciousness of the student.
ii)to encourage them to work with and among the common people.
iii)to engage the students in peaceful-constructive activities.
iv)to put the scholarship of students to practical use in removing the superstitions of people.
