Rules & Regulations

1.The academic session of the college begins from 16th June after Summer Vacation. It is divided into two terms.
a) First Term : June to December
b) Second Term : January To May

2.Admission procedure begins after publication of Annual CHSE Examination results and continues till the last date as prescribed by Department of Higher Education, Odisha.

3.Change of Address :
A candidate at the time of admission has to furnish his / her present & permanent address. Any subsequent change in address should be intimated to the college office in writing.

4. Identity Card :
After admission each and every fresh entrant will be issued with an identity card, which is nontransferable. The student is solely responsible for its loss / damage. Hence, it should be kept carefully. However, a duplicate identity card can be issued on application along with requisite fees and a photograph.Senior students have to renew their identity cards after re-admission.It has to be returned to the college office at the time of taking T.C

5.As soon as tutorial/practical and proctorial groups are notified,it is the duty of students to find out the particular group to which he/she belongs.If his/her name is not included in any list,he/she must bring it to the notice of the lecturer-in-charge of Admission.

6.Rules for payment of fees:
a)The college dues shall be conducted twice in a year i.e-for june-November at the time of admission and for December-May in the month of December or at the time of filling up of forms whichever is earlier. b)A penalty will be imposed for late payment of college dues. c)The tuition fee of boarders of college Hostel will not be accepted unless their Hostel dues are paid.

7.Exemption of fees:
Students belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe are exempted from payment of admission fees and tution fees,provided they produce the requisite tribe/caste certificates from the Tahasildar/Collector/Proper authorities.
Women students are exempted from payment of tuition fees-only.

8. Issue of Certificate :
All kinds of certificates, mark-sheets, T.C. / C.L.C. shall ordinarily be issued on the third day of the application. However, these may be issued on urgent basis on payment of urgent fee of Rs. 20/-. When T.C. / C.L.C. is being issued to students who have discontinued in the middle of a course, an amount of Rs.25/-will be collected in addition to the normal dues for the session.

9. Issue of Duplicate T.C. / C. L. C. :
When an Original T. C. / C. L. C. is lost by an ex-student, a duplicate may be issued on application by the candidate by paying requisite penalty and on production of an affidavit sworn in any court of law alongwith a declaration both by the student or by his/her guardian in the given format as the case may be. In case of theft / loss / damage of original T.C. /C.L.C. the matter should be reported to the Police Station. A certificate of O.I.C. Police Station be attached to the application. In case of loss due to flood or fire a certificate to that effect should be obtained from the Tahasildar concerned and be attached to the application. However, to guard against the possibility of abuse, care should be taken before issuing a duplicate one/a declaration signed by both the candidate and his / her father / guardian shall be obtained in the following proforma. )
